awesome use of senshi's stock!
This design is insane. If you finish it please post. PLEASE. looking at the waist I see a mix of giant feathers, tiny feathers and metal. If that's your plan I say stick with it (unless you come up w/something awesomeer).
I like her arm piece. Leg design is gorgeous. Reminds me of flower petals or bird wings even. The headdress is fantastic.

I am trying to learn patience when desiging my OC's. I have metal work similar to this. Your skill with details totally fails me in comparison. I doubt what i have in my head will ever look the same on paper. When i have the money i may commission you to do an OC! It fits your style already.

What program are you using? Your art looks different from what i normally see. OR you could have mastered a particular style

I plan to finish it but I want to come up with something new. I dunno what I want. Sometimes it just doesn't work D: (so I've spent some time to try new things)

The details are easy to do o: I always scribble around to make huge shapes, then erase a bit and scribble more (like the hanging thing from her belt)until I like it

photoshop cs5 and wacom bamboo tablet. I use gray scale painting and color with blending layers: color/overlay/darken (you can check up my wip/tut folder there should be a psd file to download) I was so sick of watching tutorials how to color, that I've spend last year just checking all the layer blending modes to find something that will please my eye.

I'm kinda curious about your designs

I know how you feel. There's a ton of fashion collections I never finished simply b/c I don't know how to. Even the ones I put on DA are usually 1/2 done.
Tutorials can be a pain to sift through but I will definitely look at yours . I use Paint Tool Sai. I want to try Photoshop but it feels weird to color in. Plus my computer is unable to handle it I have a Bamboo as well. I never drew so much until I got it. It works fantastically in SAI.

My designs would definitely look awesome colored by other people. If I ever move ahead with them I'll surely link you from my stash. Would love to know what you think before I finalize them.
