I may quit drawing, since my time is running out. Sorry if from September I won't be around :c at least I've tried my best

yes the market is a tad bit hard, labor can bring you capital to help you refuse bad drawingjobs, that is a plus.
Phillip glass actually worked as a taxi driver, plumber etc to finance his own free orchestre... normal jobs can work for some artists to bridge the road 
But you draw smexy things, and kickstarter might do wonders, I am sure there are many people who would support something like a comic, and comics are a good way to market merchandise etc <<
little tip : dont totally under-sell you , it wont feed you well anyway, and people might remember you to be a "cheap labor" type of person..
I don't say you have to ask for bazillions of moneys, but hey, I guess you noticed it anyway.

I like the combination of the colours, this cold dark against the fiery red. these strong character next to the filigran butterflies.

well, everything backfired and my parents don't want me freelancing at home anymore, which I can understand.
I wrote a manga script in high school right after my best friend died. The story was a mix of underworld, souls in form of butterflies, trikster legend, then a bit of Jung 'personality' theory and medieval tree symbolism, there was the 'hortus' garden too.
This guy named Chou was the main chara, who dies to retrieve his girlfriends soul q_q
but then bleach came out and I dropped it. It looked way to similar. I think it was just a world I created to make myself feel better after the big loos and my failure first love.

you know i really love this story and what thoughtfull things you have woven into it. You know imo a story of that kind is never wrong or can be compared.
It is like people, we seem to be the same, but to others we are special. It is not the case of if there has been a story as such it is what you make of it imo. Like columbo's egg. Others could have discover america as well, but they simply did not do it. You know what i mean? Maybe you can do this story for your friend and yourself. You know there will always be others interested. I myself would be interested and i will listen to whenever there is sth upon your mind or heart.
you created this story and it is a wonderful idea to make you feel better. It makes his memory immortal just like your memories and your heart.
