I miss the days before PokΓ©mon namey stuff weren't censored. I wanted to call a DittoΒ Manalani, a Hawaiian name meaning divine power (i.e. Ditto's ability to transform) but apparently I wasn't allowed to enter that word. Just for that, I'm gonna have to test the game with all the swearwords I know to see if there's a way to get around the censoring on X and Y.

Wow that sucks. I got Diamond, and was happy to get to name my rival.
I named myself "Doctor", so naturally i named my rival "Master".
(And of course, Dialga was named "TARDIS"!)

I always liked naming the rivals. On the first play through, I'd usually give them a pretty normal name. But then if they acted like a jerk or something, I'd give them an insulting name on all the following plays. So I was disappointed that I didn't have that simple privilege this time. But I admit, after getting to know these two rivals, I didn't really mind as much. Cheren is okay. He's not really as bothersome as other rivals. And Bianca, I actually liked her. Correction, I kinda loved her. Why? She acts like exactly like one of my best friends. Even the appearance isn't far off, just change her clothes to pink and green and you basically have my friend. So I was absolutely fine with her, and she made me laugh, especially since the resemblance in uncanny.
