Done on Painter 11 >~< My first time with the program >~<I was browsing on DA and then I saw some realistic renderings of Disney characters using a coloring book page.
So this is my product. I was bored and chose a random Disney character, Princess Aurora/"Briar Rose".
I didn't use a realist painter's piece for inspiration or guidance. Seeing I really rather not compare my sad attempts at semi-realism to a realistic artist. I'd be put to shame.

There a ton of tutorials on deviant art you can get ideas from. But from my experience, use em more like guidelines. The best outcomes I figured out come from trial and error and experimentation ^^.
