Biography
Being born deaf in America wasn't easy. Skyler was always teased at school for being deaf by several classmates and it didn't help that his dad was abusive to him and his mom. All the stress was taking it's toll on him and his mom. As a result Skyler cut his wrists several times until fate finally took away the home stress. His father got himself killed in a drunk driving accident.

Deciding it was time for a fresh start 2 years later, Skyler and his mom moved to Japan where his mom lives with his grandparents in town while he goes to Hoshizora for school. He wraps up the scars left on his wrists so they don't remind him of the past since he's here to start over his life.

*Talks by texting on his phone unless the person can understand sign language
*Can only read lips if others talk in English
*Japanese from his mother; French-American from his Father
*Bad at handling ppl when they get angry at him making him quickly relapse bad memories of his father; may cause him to cry and act completely different like a scared little kid
*Grandparents own/run a flower shop in town where he works as mainly clean up while his mom helps in the back
NOW HAS WORKING HEARING AIDS AND CAN HEAR AND SPEAK THOUGH ONLY SIMPLE THINGS LIKE NAMES AND SHORT COMMON PHRASES
Family also just finds out he has an almost genius high IQ level that's been concealed due to him not being able to hear but shown when he actually says "mom" after he gets his new hearing aids and can hear and figuring out how to say simple words and names
