Description
If you, like me, are a bit nuts about anything vintage, you'll probably like this avatar.
Also, this is the first one in a series of avatars I'm making with "out-dated" technology.
So expect to see some of floppy-disks and other cool stuff soon!

This is super cute! And it makes me a little happy, because it makes me remember when I was little kid and I would sit in bed listening to my cassette tapes. It brings back some really nostalgic memories.
I don't know a whole lot about pixel art, but it look very neat and the turning wheels are a nice touch.

It's the animation that was being a bitch. Frame-speed in GIMP is hell to figure out and time correctly
And as for my avatar: I actually did a 100x100 version, then downscaled it and repixeled it because it had blurred :')

It's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it. And there are lots of tutorials. And the best thing is: the programs I use for these kinds of things... are FREE!

Indeed! And Graphicsgale is awesome for spriting and dolling.
Best thing is: they offer a free (non-trial) version, it just has less features. (Like animating your drawings).
But that's what I use GIMP or Photoshop for, so it's all good!
