Description
(We arrived at Australia fairly late at night. Percy kept texting someone who I guessed was his mother, my Aunt Jane. I looked around the large room. There were people waiting at seats for their family and friends. Then behind that there was a newsagent and a coffee shop.
I then heard a faintly familiar voice calling mine and Percy's names. I turned around to see an average height lady, with long wavy dark ginger hair. She had sparkling brown eyes. Percy ran up to this lady and gave her the biggest bear hug I had ever seen. Once I saw an image flash through my mind of a young boy similarly hugging what looks to be the same lady, and my mother laughing on the veranda behind them.
This must be Aunt Jane…)

I ran up to Aunt Jane and gave her a failed attempt of Percy's bear hug… Then she helped us into her car. Percy comfortably took the passenger seat. Which I guess is alright, because I hogged all the backseat and kept looking out the windows on both sides of the car excitedly, watching as all the different scenes flew past.

Before long, we arrived at a two story house with a light red colour roof. Aunt Jane mentioned that it was lucky that there had been hardly any traffic on the way there.
I was led down a long corridor to a room close to the bathroom. I was kinda glad that I was near the bathroom, mostly because I'm afraid of the dark. I unpacked everything and made myself at home, before walking to the Kitchen to help with dinner. We set the table for six. I guess there were more people here than I thought…

The doorbell rang and Percy ran to answer the door. I guess he'll never grow up… There were three voices other than Percy's coming from the doorway. I awkwardly strained my ears to try and recognise any voices, as I placed some food on the plates. Aunt Jane walked up behind me, tapped me on the shoulder and whispered "I finish this. You can go meet them, you probably don't remember them, it has been a long time." I thanked her and walked slowly over to the door. As soon as I got within view of the door way, a girl that looked around the same age as me, with long curly dark brown hair, screamed my name and tackled me, giving a similar style hug as Percy gave his mother at the airport. After a while she detached herself from me and Percy gave her a small glare, I think to warn her that I might not remember her. She gave a small smile and introduced herself as Percy's sister, my cousin, Faith. Two tall men stepped inside. One in a business suit and a very serious look on his face, and the other looked fairly similar to Percy, in casual clothes and a slightly worried look on his face. The serious one was introduced as Frank and the other man was introduced as 'Uncle Bill'.
We all settled down at the table and ate our meal in silence. We then walked out to the veranda, which I immediately recognised as the one from the image my mind showed me at the airport. More images flashed, of chasing a dog around the yard with Percy and Faith and grinning proudly at my mother on the veranda, when I finally caught the dog…
The man named Frank, started talking to me and I came straight back to the present moment.
"So… Your Delilah… the girl whose mother died in the car crash…"
I nodded.
"Do you remember anything about when you were little, before your mother died?"
"I remember chasing a dog in this yard…"
"That's not enough! You'll have to stay here for a while and live life as you would have… and everyone here will help. I'll need you to report to me weekly to see if you're ready to find out the truth about your past. Is this all clear to you?"
I gulped before answering "…yes" I don't think he heard me so I made myself sound more confident and louder when I repeated myself.
"Good. I'll see you next weekend. Goodbye."
