Description
The Twelve Months of Nintendo Project - Twelve images based on some of the major Nintendo games. The general idea is that these images will make a nice little calendar with each piece having a vague colour scheme to it...sometimes very vague. I also have another vague aim which is to take each game from a slightly different angle to what could be considered the norm..DK in the snow, Mario in the sand etc..but we'll see how that goes. I love seeing how it might look if a gigantic, angry gorilla smashed down into snow out of a cannon a little more realistically.

I like the two-tone (?) shading and I like how the lines look like they were done with a brush pen. The foreshortening is really cool and Donkey looks particularly ferocious. XD

*nods* two tone shading. It's odd actually, I've been wanting to get a proper brush pen but whilst I wait I've been using pens to mimic the style I guess..god, I want that brush pen XD
