Upper circle: Normal arabic numbers, shows 24 hours, inner circle carries roman numbers (two halfs, I - XII) and shows astronomical positions and that small excentric circle shows zodiac symbols.
That two windows (closed on the photo) opens when horologe is stunning (every half hour) and there are moving animated wooden carved statues of saint patrons. Upper, in the middle of those windows is gold cock and he cries when windows are closing.

Nice shot... I know that horologe very well, because I'm from Czech Rep. but I'm not directly from Prague. Prague sucks, Czech Rep. sucks and I'm so bored of this unimportant and small country in the middle of Europe. I hate Prague... I live in the 2nd biggest city in our country - Brno and there is very very big rivality between those two cities. Only one thing is good in Prague and that's historical buildings and history... And of course, don't compare Prague with Wien. Wien is greatfull, clean and nice city.

i visited even Brno 3 yrs ago. I understand your feelings, i live in a very small city in the northern Italy (in 30min. i am in Austria!)
