If you remember from the Death Note anime, BB is the man that got murdered from the Los Angeles BB Murder Cases... which was worked on by L and Naomi. He was another guy that came out of the Wammy House and he was also born with the Shinigami eyes. You can read about him in the Death Note: Another Note, The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases novel. I've never read it, but I heard about him.

Out of curiosity, where's BB from? I know he's from Death Note and something called Another Note, but I don't really know what Another Note is. Could you explain? ^3^'

Another Note is the spinoff book from Death Note that tells of one of L's other cases called the LABB Murder Cases. It features Naomi Misora and is told from the point of view of Mello. Beyond Birthday is the serial killer Misora and L are trying to catch.
