Hehe, yeah, I left a lot of my fabrics in the US while I was in Japan, so I couldn't make many brocade pieces! But people seem to like it very well, so I tried making another piece. Also, you mentioned people wanted red and black pieces! I didn't finish it in time to send in your batch, but I made some.

Lol, it happens, but hey, at least there's plenty to choose from here--say, if you are looking for any specific colors of brocade, do tell! I have a huge collection, and the stores around here just keep bringing in new bolts!

I have a dress in chinese style made with a embroided fabric wich resembles this one...I love it...don't use it in a looooooooooooooooooooong time, 'cause basically I kinda gained weight...that kind of crap...argh...well back to the comment...I loved the fabric...so sophisticated and beautiful I just...loved the way it turned out, congratulations to you missey!!!!
ps: I'll just say it 'cause it was the first time I tought when I saw the thumb, this reminds me the colors from a soccer team here from Brazil...wich is Flamengo, their colors are...black and red XDDDDDDD

it is very elegant and sophisticated , but it's also very subtle about the red , which adds to this piece's appeal , at least that's what i think . i mean , red is a very eye catching coloring , and can be easily overwhelming but you've achieved a great visual balance between the red and black on the piece , especially the flower .
