I remember noticing that after I romanced Thane he actually seemed to get more protective of my Shepard. Most likely it was just coincidental but I found it kinda cute.

*spoiler warning* Was this inspired by the Abandoned Mine mission? I just did that one the other day as one of my last missions before the IFF, at a low difficulty level. Charged up adept with Heavy Singularity, Heavy Warp, and a shotgun = fun. Had Thane and Zaeed with me, using Thane's Squad Shredder Ammo. Sat on the top of that right-most ramp spawning endless singularities at the bottom of the ramp where the husks kept trying to come up. Shotgunned the legs out from under any that made it past the singularity. T&Z stood behind me and guarded the other end of the ramp; never had to worry about it.

oh God those husks, in Insanity i died like 4 times on that level cause i was surrounded, all those husks has armor on them, cant use shockwave to blew them away
