Sorry Haven't been around much to comment much mate, but this is wonderful. The colour combination or deep purples and blues and slight hint of greens and yellows are stunning, one of the most realistic compostions ive ever seen!

I've never been really 'into' sci-fi/sky art, but yours are just phenomenal, enough to grab my attention and sucker me in for a good long stare. It's hard to imagine all the dedication to detail you have here - everything is just so perfect. Well done.

I only have one problem when i see your pictures, i don't know how you can get the idea to make them, i mean i can have strange idea cool design or new shapes. But have the idea for the shape of a nebulae, this is something i cannot do, well probably because i never seriously think about it but the main idea still very strange for me, it's like the shape of a could.
But well, this allow me to even more apreciate your work

Well actualy speaking, i start off the nebulae and they kind of grow in to the right shape as i etch away at them, i never have a full idea of what its going to look like, more like a genral i dea of what i want. I dont really know but i guess its kinda like driving to some place without a map, and you only have a rough idea of how to get there, but your willing to figure it out when you get close to the end.

Urus-28 In reply to Hameed [2005-03-30 21:44:18 +0000 UTC]

All right, i understand the process, quite different from me, i need in general several sketches or a precise idea of what i want

Hameed In reply to Urus-28 [2005-03-30 23:05:28 +0000 UTC]

Yeah i tried that aproach too but it doesnt seem to work out how you plan it out, its best to just let it flow so to speak. (from my experience anyway)

This is a very impressive piece hameed. The planets textured look is quite fantastic and the suns lighting effects are gorgeous. Nicely done m8.

You know I would love to see some time someone attempt to create storm details on one of their planets. Like these:
