Week 30 of my 52 week self-portrait project.I went to see a 3-D film last night for the first time in my life. (Yes, I'm one of those old fashioned people, scared of progress and hurting my eyes and stuff.) I didn't really find 3-D that exciting but I did think that the glasses were tres sexy so decided to do a very glamourous self-portrait with them.
This is shot with my brand new flash unit, which makes me very happy.
Yesterday I learnt a valuable lesson about comedy. My boyfriend's facebook was hi-jacked by his work colleges. First they wrote 'I like cock' and then, an hour later, 'No, I LOVE cock.' I thought this was utterly hilarious. I wanted to add to it (as I also had the chance to hi-jack his facebook) but I sat at the keyboard for half an hour and had a realisation: There is no facebook status hi-jacking funnier then to say someone likes cock. It is pure comedy gold. Sometimes you just have to accept that you can't fix perfection.
Besides, the word 'cock' is just funny.
Sorry for lowering the tone. I've been working ridiculously hard and my brain has been kind of fried.

I really like how you framed this shot, how it's all closed in with your arm up the top, slightly cropped out. The colours are really nice too - especially your hair & lips.

I think it's something to do with the fact it's monosyllabic, and ends in a plosive.
