Model: Your host and a truly terrible wig
Shot at the lighting workshop which =photograjph and myself ran at Aperture Studios as a fund raiser for the Victorian Bush Fires appeal.
=photograjph was commenting on how lighting blond hair is quite a different matter to lighting other colours and it was a shame we didn't have a blond. Well, they asked for it! I quietly tottered off and became blond and returned with a truly shocking wig, a horrific, 80 year old fur coat, leopard print leggings and push up bra. The outfit was actually a tribute to my Assistant Director from 'The John Lennon Play'. There is an amazing photo which sums her up: her camping in this exact outfit but with a sequined bra and bottle of wine in one hand. She is amazing. I love her dearly so decided to do a tribute shoot. The vegan in me had a hard time with the fur but it is so ancient and falling apart that I decided to go for it.

I think this is the first time I am a little sad with the work. The shape of the wig and the angle which it was shot at gives you a very square look. Your eyes are still flipping amazing though!

Of course that's part of the charm! One of the grand things about those sort of wigs is how marvellously dreadful they are and how they add that finishing touch to such get ups!
