Just off the top of my head:
- Both Orphaned
- Both lack of 'super powers' but make up for it with intelligence and dedication (With Tony that's making his own stuff, Bruce that's outsourcing but also training and sleuthing about)
- Both part of a team though not exactly team players.
- Both have a few select people they really trust (Tony: Pepper and Rhodey Bruce: Alfred and Rachel(Nolan)/Robin)
