Boy, it's been a while. But I'm still not dead.
I hear the "Babel Update" is already out in the Beta-branch. Not a spectacular update, it seems, Mostly adding tons of new languages (Tower of Babel and confusion of languages... clever reverence 
But on the bright side: the release is getting ever closer
