I'm currently doing a lot of world-building for Hellbound and this friendly face is part of that.

Know as the Nightmare King, the Neverending Darkness, though his real name is lost to History and the Void he dwells in.

Even in the oldest sketches, I always imagined a thing with three heads and a humanoid figure, that are in some way connected.

Last year, I had a little epiphany for a new design, which I captured in a bunch of sketches . I think it looks way more horrific than anything I had made up before, which provides a suitable sense of dread.
