He's finally finished!He's a bit clunky, incredibly flexible, and he has no ability to sit up (you can see, I had to hold him) but I like how he turned out. I think I might give his hair a trim or maybe hair glue it to make it a little less floofy, though.
The hard bits are Efoplast Lite, the eyes are wooden beads, the hair is feather boa. Painted with acrylic, ink, and silver poster paint. Johnny C belongs to Jhonen V. I might mail this doll to him, if I thought he'd give a toss.

I know this is three years too late, but at this next SDCC my sister is going to give Jhonen a little Johnny toy. If she gives it to him and he likes it I think you should give this to him.
It's totally bad ass and Jhonen isn't a mean person. I gave him my art once and he really liked it. I think you should really give it a shot.

That's really cute! If you're interested in making another one that can stand and sit and do other poses on his own I know a thing or to. Also you could make him bigger! But he's still really cute!

I WOULD recommend using hair glue though. His hair looks Goth Einstienish.

Well it's about making joints instead of connecting the parts. Instead you make joints that fit together like puzzle pieces. But it's also math, you have to make sure the joints can hold up. Also you have to design them so they pose how you want them to pose. Basically it would be a 'ball jointed doll' it would require being strung with elastic but he would stand and be able to hold things.

I knew a girl who made figurines/doll things of himself and Mr. Roman Dirge and he really thought she was creepy. Granted, she WAS and she made a very bad impression on him, but I think it would be better to just keep it to yourself. It's super great, though. I can tell you really put a lot of effort into it. :>

I made a Sickness ceramic figure a few years ago and was planning on sending it to him, but one of the legs got cracked off and lost somewhere in school, blargh.
I really dig this though. If you don't send it to him, keep it in a place of honour because it is so cool.
