To me, this piece says James Potter more than it does Sirius Black...I think it's the hair texture that throws me off into James-land.
I love this, though. I'm always fond of black and white. I like the simplicity of it. He is definitely beautiful. The attention to details - like in the hands - I really appreciate. My favorite though, is his forlorn, thoughtful eyes. I also like that he's smoking.

This is really one of the best lineart-Sirius-pics I've ever seen - And I've seen a lot of them. It is really without mistakes, nearly perfect and I adore thw way he looks here and his white eyes,
It seems so distant and on the other side a bit sad and tired and indifferent, all of the same time ΓΆ_ΓΆ

Hate to sound like every other comment on here, but what the heck? This picture = love. I'm normally not a big fan of the harry potter art since it's usually reeeeaaally far off from what they're supposed to look like, but this is just beastly good.

You know, this is actually about the 30th time when I'm looking at this drawing. I dare say it is the closest image of Sirius I've ever seen. It's just like the one I saw in my head when I was reading about his younger self. The cigarette for being rebelious, the far-off, quite sad look for having his issues with life.
Oh, and don't us forget about the standing collar. xD

It seem that you're not the only one to feel the same about this picture. I don't think I put the cigarette in his mouth just for him being rebelious (more too make him look cool), remember that in the 80s a lot more of people was smoking. He might even have take the habit within is own familly.
