I feel like a Bumblebee King would have been out of place in the hierarchy or the Hollow Knight world. I do like the design though, I think it could be used for maybe a Bee lord or Bee warrior or hunter.

Perhaps a prince would be better. Bees don't have kings, but the males that are born during reproduction season could be considered princes.
