Description
This is a sketch I did last winter of a Japanese girl dressed traditionally, tucking the last of her hair back into the tight bun that completes the outsider's view of a Japanese woman. I like it better in ink, but it's only half colored in right now, so I can't really scan it as it is.

There's not much to say about this-- I didn't have anyone specific in mind or anything. Also, I don't know why I added the peacock feathers, as that kind of headdress is very much more Chinese than Japanese in style. Maybe it was a subconscious rendering of myself then, as a Chinese girl in Japanese clothes? LOL.
