Ha, nice! I love the switch around. For some reason Hakken doesn't look too impressed at being turned into a Maserati. I admit, I kinda like Kenda as a fierce-looking Lamborghini Murciélago

Of course! They are not too different in terms of colour after all (tbh, I haven't seen an MC12 that isn't either white, blue or some combination of the two yet)
I do have to wonder though: is this going to spawn some mini-series of drawings where Hakken and Kenda are cars from various countries? That could actually be quite fun to see: for British cars, I can see Kenda being a McLaren all day long XD

Yep, the only ones I've ever seen have been some variation of white and blue. I believe 50 MC12's were made. I'm yet to see another colour of MC12. I'm intrigued to look it up now XD
