I like The Walking Dead. Its a good show with a good story and really effects. I just don't like a majority of the characters. Now I haven't gotten everyone's names down right yet so you'll have to bear with me. I like Rick Grimes and Glenn and T-Dog, Merle and Daryl and I hate veryone else. They're annoying, selfish and idiotic. Like how that lady wanted to kill Rick for coming into the store and leading the walkers to them. Then she goes on and acts like a real bitch. I'm sorry but lady... You and your friends are the one who really fucked up. Your the ones who went to a city, you never go to a city during the zombie apocalypse. Its like going to a mall or a graveyard you're only asking for trouble. Then when the walkers get in everyone runs away screaming leaving Merle to die on the roof. Assholes. So yeah a lot of the characters are incredbily unlikeable.Also I don't support racism, sexism, white supremecy or the Neo Nazis. I only like Merle because he's played Michael Rooker. If he wasn't I'd hate him as well.

in defense of them handcuffing Merle, he was beating T-Dog and harassing the group, making a mule of himself, so to protect the group, Rick had to handcuff him.
in defense of leaving him, T-Dog dropped the key, there were walkers coming and T-Dog chained the door shut, that's got to count for something.
going into the city: "we came into the city to scavenge supplies, you know what the key to scavenging is? surviving. you know what the key to surviving is? sneaking, in and out, tiptoeing, not shooting up the street like it's the 'ok-corral'"
and Rick EXPLICITLY SAYS "I don't understand" after Andrea puts the gun in his face and accuses him
and yes, granted, going into a city is asking for trouble, but they need supplies, every store that's easy pickings would have come up empty already so they have to go deeper into the city, so even though it's their own stupidity and very risky, RICK brought the walkers on them.

As far as you were into this at the time, that about sums up the characters anyone would expect you to like...except maybe with Dale added. Everyone hates Lori and Andrea, and you're SUPPOSED to hate Shane, and everyone else is just such bit parts from there until later on. Hopefully you like some more of the characters now.
