Vidar i videt (skogen), hans ursprungliga hem, jag vet dock inte om blot till Vidar skedde i skogsmarker,på samma sätt som blot till exempelvis Frigg skedde i våtmarker. Eller om han enbart hade skogsmarkerna som sitt hem.
Jag finner den religösa/naturreligösa bilden av gudomligheterna mer intressanta än de nya(medeltida) skrifterna,
då de ibland kan vara missvisande och ha en kristen utgångspunkt, men och andra sidan är de det mest informativa.
Vidar är endå en intressant gud som faktiskt hade en kult och/eller dyrkades i en gemenskap av andra krafter.
My street where i´ve lived for almost 13 years is named after this guy so he by far one of my favorite forces ever. There is not much yet
discovered about the Vidar cult or what his primary function was so choosing specific nature-attributes to him was difficult.
