Touya Kanou from A Thousand Years of Snow, by Bisco Hatori (Although, I guess the official English name is "Millenium Snow"...)I adore this series. It's not as stupid as Ouran, but it's definately got a sense of humor ^^. And it turns out, she recycles characters' face o.O.
Now I got to get to work on what he's actually sitting on (I couldn't figure out what...)

She DOES recycle faces. Yamimaru bears a striking resemblence to Honey, and more than once I've looked at Touya and thought, "... Tamaki?"

It is true, Tamaki sempai and Touya have creepily similar faces. But I like Touya's cranky smolder much better than Tamaki's crazy self. (If Tamaki would smolder more, I could learn to like him.)

I saw this and my first though was "WoW this is drawn perfectly". Alot of other artist mess up the proportioning alot of tmes, and things just turn out too long or short. or too fat or skinny, but you did an amazing job getting the proportioning just right. I'm still drooling, looking at this picture. LoL. keep up the good work!

Ah, you caught the face recycling too? ^^ Glad it wasn't just me. This is very nice. I always have trouble with full-body shots, and giving them weight, but you managed quite nicely

I don't really mind the face recycling as much as I have with other series, although I'm not entirely sure why....
Well, I guess the best way is to just practice...the biggest problem I always have is backgrounds (I'm terrible at drawing things that are not people *sweatdrops*)

Probably because the story and characters are original enough that you only think about it the first time you see it. You kinda forget after a while that "Hey, she looks like Haruhi" or "Wow, he looks alot like Tamaki!"

I didn't think that Chiyuki looked like Haruhi, but there's a definite resemblance between Kyouya and Toya, and Satsuki and Tamaki.

I finally read 'A Thousand Years of Snow' and the characters don't look that much alike.
