Appearance- Orthoclase has a slender hourglass figure with a tall structure. She has yellow taupe skin and bronze colored hair. Her hair is flipped and flared in the back. She wears a chocolate brown mermaid tail dress with white going vertically from the top sides and white frills at the bottom. She also wears a yellow silk scaf on her neck. Her 2 pairs of hands consist of white tape bands on the cuffs of her arm. She has a resting face and oval-ish eyes with a small, pointed nose. Orthoclase’s gem is located on her forehead and on her right foot.

Personality- She is very dramatic and snobby, mostly having a type of selfish and inconsiderate personality. She believes the world revolves around herself. Orthoclase does not like getting messy, so she rarely fights. However, to defend herself, she can summon a glass wine glass and shatter it, and then using the glass shards in battle. When others say her name, she corrects them, calling herself Orthoclasé with an accent.

Abilities- Although Orthoclase considers herself not the fighting type, she has the ability to use Hyalokinesis. She is often seeing drinking out of a wine glass, but in defense, she shatters the glass and use the shards in battle. Not only using shards to fight, she can also distort glass and make things out of glass (such as mirrors, orbs, or glass figures)

Backstory- After Jonquil introduces herself to Steven and the Crystal Gems, Pearl holds a slight grudge against Jonquil. It was the fact that Rose Quartz and Jonquil were close before the Crystal Gems were even formed. Steven had asked Jonquil about fusing with Rose Quartz, Pearl was clearly irritated about Jonquil fusing with Rose. A while later, Pearl decides to offer to fuse with Jonquil, as Jonquil agrees. Being formed into Orthoclase, Pearl claims she would never unfuse with Jonquil. She used Orthoclase to get some memories from Jonquil about Rose Quartz and some inside gossip. After the rest of the Crystal Gems knocks sense into Pearl as Pearl apologizes to Jonquil and unfuses; only using the fusing for more important things.
