My half of the September trade with through . The cat's markings are based on her cat Ventti. (: The theme of this month's trade was autumn and I was inspired by the beautiful rowan trees (Fin. pihlaja) our neighbourhood is full of. ('Syys' refers to autumn; syyskuu is Finnish for September.)Indian ink, watercolours and coloured pencils.

Thanks! I think I was going for something close to the feeling you find in the works of the early 20th century Finnish fairytale illustrators like Rudolf Koivu or Martta Wendelin. Emphasis on the word 'feeling' as it was subconscious, I only realized it now. The style, I think, is still very much my own.
