Did I ever tell you about me and ladybugs? Both my mother and grandmother loved them so much, and ever since they passed on I see ladybugs often at the weirdest times (dead of winter) and in the oddest places (middle of walmart). I am suffering the darkest of times in my life right now, and a ladybug appeared on my ceiling yesterday.

Now I see you (my first dA friend) putting up ladybug photographs.

I wish I could believe they portent something good coming up but I know better. I will just be happy realizing someone is loving me and thinking of me on the other side.

I love this. The light colors and the ladybug crawling along the rigid edge of the leaf makes me think of the life's many twists and turns and how often we are only suddenly aware of them as they hit us.
