oh super duper!!!
i think the black BG was essential! there's enough going on in the flower itself that anything else in the frame would be a distraction. and that is a freakin awesome flower! there's just enough curve to the stem to give it a comfortable "live" angle - not like it were factory made of rigid plastic.... the softness of the petals is well complimented by the activity in the center. great focus and lighting. the red isnt flushed or over-saturated as happens a lot with my red flowers *jealousy*
shame though....
i can only fave it once!
