Excellent job, it potrays parinora so well. I once knew someone I was really close to who was schizoprenic and she was always peeking out her blinds as if someone was out to get her.

beautiful rendering...what i would do is i would rev up the shadows of the blinds on his face. i think that would give it a more dramatic feel. nevertheless...marvelous effort.

I'm repeating myself in most of my comments, writing 'bout contrast, but contrast is what I like the most (if it's done good), so... IT IS BREATH-TAKING !!! You've madi it look, that I'm getting blinded by the brightness of the white parts of the picture !!! Absolutely awesome !!!

what can be said that hasn't been said yet? Years from now, if you ever let yourself away from Expresionisim, you'll pass the greats of the 20th cent, don't doubt that. don't give in....

I don't know what to say. You are 17! I am seriously at a loss for words...all of your work is equally mind-blowing. Masters and professionals can work their entire lives and not show an ounce of the talent I have seen here, in all of your works. There are many great artists on deviantart, but by far, you have the most natural talent. It just puts me in awe. Your talent keeps me inspired; I apreciate that you love art so much and that you are so great, but even more that you are making the world a better place by sharing it with everyone. Thank you again.

this is REALLY good. Easely one of the best freehands I've seen on devArt.
P.S. I am a bit confused with the description about giving credit... so did you draw it or was it someone else? *confused*

wow, there are so many amazingly skilled traditional artists who are hardly getting any recognition here on d.a. - i can't believe this hasn't recieved any comments/faves yet!
oh well, anyway, you've done really well with the whole lighting thing. the texture of the paper really adds something, too, it kinda brings out the tones + gives it a bit more character. + the lighting of the eye looks great too.
