Thought I’d do a little thing for what’s officially my 100th submission on DeviantArt and, well, it kinda got me thinking whether that’s a lot of submissions or not.

Anyone who’s been around long enough might gander that I’m not the most frequent poster, and because of that it took quite a while to get this many pieces under my belt. Aside from outside forces, part of that reasoning is quality control I suppose; I’d rather have fewer pieces that actually look decent than an avalanche of sketchy lookin stuff (whether or not I’ve actually made a quality piece every time is debatable, but the effort’s there at least).

Had the idea of posting lower-effort doodles somewhere, but I figured I could look into a different platform for that. For now, I’ll still trucking along, slowly or otherwise. And who knows, maybe 100 submissions will turn out to be ‘not a lot’ in the long run.

On an unrelated note, ANY amount of hairspray in the eyes is TOO much hairspray.
