What software do you use to colour it?
It takes me way too long because I dont have anything but artrage and a pen tablet, that is why there is not that many really detailed backgrounds in my gallery.
If I want to go for detail in my work I generally do the background first and then add my characters, I need to work on Urban scenes though as my police dogs patrol the Streets of London and as yet I am not very good at it and Yes, those police dogs work very long hours, could be more than 10 a day, nights, evenings and weekends and in any weather, but there is an awful amount of waiting involved, which is worse than the busy periods.
Schnapps, Sabre and Scimitar are my main characters, I have more as I have invented a small police force, centering around a K-9 unit in London's East End (24 dogs at present but in a few months, the new entry will be coming in which means I will have 30 police dog characters! and also 24 humans) but they exist on two seperatate planes, my quadruped police dogs of London and the wonderful anthro, which has created.
Schnapps design originally belonged to :iconwolfandbowserfans: and his original design can be found here http:[link] he was an adoptable, he existed before then, but only in the written word. He is now my character.

for the first: part i use artrage for the lineart^^ just a demo version i guess for colouring i juse gimp 2 also a free softwear.
for the rest: ....wau i am so glad that i did something so good for you just by folowing my hobby^^ it made a lot of fun to draw your main chars and that you say they are ours now ...wau

Well, if and when I make a comic, hopefully when, maybe you could do a crossover, I could give you the information for the backstory and you could create your anthro magic.
As for artrage I have the full programme my mam and dad bought a Wacom bamboo tablet for me for Christmas 2 years ago and it was part of the software.
How do you create your comics? because I don't even know where to start, I put a journal entry up and every thing and no one gave me any help. If ever you want to draw Sabre's London, it is not really the posh end, where you see Westminster and the West End.
Think, ITV The Bill if you ever saw it, I used to love that drama, I still miss it, if not you can catch it on youtube which is what gave me some inspiration as to the setting,lots of good looking characters, no police dogs though. I had to do a lot of research, into police dog handling and training,as well as the type of work police dogs do, I actually bought a book on how to train police dogs,as I wanted my story to be as realistic as possible, bar the fact that it is a dog telling the story.

^^ i usualy start comics like wriding what will happens but different then a normaly story it is more like a plan of a movie like : the stray stays beside a stone and says"xy unknown" and then what happens in the next pic .. a kind of plaing and ground story for the comic then i draw the pics one for one couse i know if i would have to draw all at one i would make it worst then i make the finish pics at a page and enter the bubbles my biggest prob

It might be too graphic with scenes of animal cruelty, like what happened to Schnapps,before Carl Bentley rescued him, he was used in dogfighting but his heart wasn't in it, so his owner strung him up from a tree and left him there to die, I have uploaded the prologue of Schnapps' Tale, which is just a little bit of insight into the kind of life Schnapps had before he joined the force.

xD ka ich guck nie auf die zeit^^ aber ich brauch eig nie lange lols gestern die lineart hingepinselt in ca...15-20 min dann gestern abend noch schnell vorm ins bett gehen farbe druff und heute schatten licht und augen fertig ich glaub insgesammt...ne stunde? evtl ein einhalb? obwohl da es in mehr etappen war evtl auch 2 wie gesagt hab da kein zeitgefΓΌhl...aber ich hΓ€tte nie den nerv 2 stunden an nem bild zu sitzen vorallem da ich eh neben bei immer am chatten bin oder i-was zocke oder wie zb jetzt devi krams mache und lerne wΓ€hrend ich zeichne/male
