Just so ya know, I recently found out she's from the Star Fox franchise.

Although, I've only ever played Star Fox 64.

Well done, Guukan! I have DAZ3D myself and have to admit, it's quite an easy 3D program to use. Wish there was a 3D model of Gadget to work with. ^.^

Very good for a first attempt. I use Daz as well and it can be rather painstaking when you work on a scene.
By the way, I have Renamon as well. She'll meet Krystal in a future scene.

So are a DAZ user? Providence be praised, I've been looking for another Daz user to seek advice from! Could you help me out?

I'll try but I've only been using it for about two or three months now.

Looks good for a first attempt. I do highly suggest shadows, though. Helps prevent it looking like she's floating above the sand.. which does sound neat, but still. :>

I 'm still figuring out the controls as it is. It's only a matter of time before I figure out how to do that... I've been experimenting with Daz a lot. That's the next control on my list to find, as per your suggestion.

nice work, the pose looks very good. The background is very good as well, but that's probably something else you downloaded, rigt?
I once tried my hand at daz3d as well, since it's for free. But I couldn't work out how to use it and quickly deletedit again. Without an expert to help you or a very good tutorial it's almost impossible to learn that.

You're right, the background came with. I've been trying to download more, but it doesn't like me putting new landscapes and backgrounds there.

ah, I see. That sucks. If you want more stuff, I think you either have to buy it from their website or submit some of your own productions. After all, the creators want to make money as well and only allow free use of their programm if they get something back.
But that highly restricts the options of people, who can't or don't want to put money in this and who aren't good at creating new stuff.

I dunno about those two options... I know lots of sites that make their own models. Krystal, as made by Charleyfox, is pictured above, she was free. And there's a whole siteful of free stuff for her... I have it bookmarked. Plus Daz3d itself hosts an entire thread dedicated to links towards independant models and accessories that are free.
I have Renamon now, too, thanks to that thread.
