Topic:Guardian of the Portal Gate
Concept:Zephedieu
Description:
When the clouds must be parted and the portal to heaven opened to receive souls into the kingdom of God the Zephedieu are released. These immortal guardians protect the portal to heaven.They will not hesitate to attack any entity that tries to disrupt the portal or the ascending procession of souls.
I know it looks rather demonic but I was going off of the idea that supernatural beings both demons and angels will be frightening to humans in appearance, in addition this is a creature of the skies and as such it never lands, thus why its back legs are wings.

This is incredible! And personally, you're right in the sense that in my opinion, both angels and demons should signify supernatural power in the most terrifying way. Just because they're "angels" doesn't mean they're going to be sweet little halo'd creatures XD
This piece is just fantastic...the atmosphere is beautiful and the details, especially the design, is great. Faving for sure!
