This is pretty amazing, I must say :]. I love his spots. But I think there's something missing from his eyes. There's no intensity. It's just a good drawing. It might not be your fault, rather the photographer's, but think about the spark of life next time you do a tiger sketch. Try to capture thier dignity and... essence, for lack of better word.

I think so too! I always find it a problem balancing intensity and plain drawing for some reason. It can get quite frustrating sometimes and I really really really don't have the patience. =/

Haha, that's why I like clay. I can make all sorts of little changes and I never have to worry about depth or angles or how "dirty" the page will look after the side of my hand is done smereing all the pencil around. But my frustration with the medium lends me a great respect for those that manage to put up with it (drawing that is). Your technical skill is good. So try something original. Without a reference. You might surprise yourself with the amount of raw emotion you see there!
