Description I just have to share the story behind this, as it's a good one. I do a lot of my work at the kitchen table, and I set up last night to do a totally unrelated project. As I set up, I had my Lois Griffin action figure standing next to a really nice Kida (I have two, one smaller and one bigger) as references for the project. As I've been looking to do more Disney crossovers, I looked at the two and went "Hmmm..." You've got to admit - it'd make one heck of a cutaway gag.

"Hey Lois, remember the time you went to Atlantis?" No, I'm not drawing Peter as an Atlantean...someone else will have to do that.

Check out its companion piece, Morgan Proctor of Futurama gulliver63.tumblr.com/image/95…

I own neither Lois Griffin or Kida.

Oh, that was a hell of a movie. And it had the late great James Garner as the big bad.

Lois/Kida looks like a face eating space monster in this pic though.

Thanks! I don't know why I didn't think of that one sooner.

I like the look of the island in the background.Β  Will we be seeing Morgan Proctor as an Atlantean?

::takes a minute to catch breath after laughing:: I hadn't thought of it, but it might be funny to see what it would look like. I've doodled Leela as one, and she just looked natural in the outfit.

There was a 1950's B&W sci-fi where the inhabitants of the Moon, all women, had migrated from Atlantis.Β  It was either Cat Women of the Moon or Missile to the Moon.

That would have been a nice cutaway on Family Guy.

That's what I thought. "Hey Lois...remember when you went to Atlantis?" They could have done a musical number.

Well done, my friend.Β  Well done.Β  The "Kida" look suits Lois quite well.Β  Perhaps she could wear that getup at a costume ball, or better still, a Comic-Con.Β  Β

Go for it, I say, seeing as how it gives you pleasure.Β  It's the same kind of fun I have when I take iconic cartoon ladies and make martial arts heroines out of them.Β  Β

In a weird way I found horror to be very fun to write. I first explored that avenue in a Futurama story called "A Day at the Zoo."Β www.futurama-madhouse.net/fanf…

When it comes to writing, horror has never been my strong suit.Β  I like to put my OCs, Stuart and Rhonda, in tales about exploring places supposedly haunted and with some historical background to them, such as abandoned insane asylums andΒ prisons.Β  There's nothing more spooky to me than derelict mental hospitals and asylums.

When it comes to horror, I tend to lean the way of Twilight Zone and such...I love writing things about someone being a mutant with psionic powers. I actually have my second "Tweak" story finished, if you'd like to see it - it takes place on a planet of mutants.

Thanks but I think I'll pass.Β  I never cared for stories about mutants with exotic powers, which is why I never liked "X Men" comics nor have I seen any of the movies based on the comics.Β

Thanks! Would you hate me if I told you that I finished it in about an hour and a half? And I even had to start over again after Corel just shut down on me and lost what I was working on. I'm getting better at this stuff, and it's getting quicker to me because I know more of what I'm doing. One of the things that helped me was that I discovered a brush called a Felt Marker which gives me smoother lines. I'm just starting to learn more of the tricks...
