Wasn't there some story that goes along with the hole in the roof of the Pantheon? Wasn't the devil meant to have left through the roof and made a hole on his way out. something like that.

I really like the composition and how the light falls. I like how there are squares where the light falls and on the left there are lines. Good shot

I don't know what it is exactly, but the composition is just supurb.
I think it's the way the wall (door?) on the right balances the light thrown onto the wall on the left.
