Icarus had flown too close to the sun and burnt his wings, My other title for this was Lilith as her wings were also destroyed.Here is my version of a charactor Dante may have envisioned in his discription of Hell, Icarus for his arogance may well
be in Dante's inferno.
I give Permission to display this work in thier Club gallery.

Poor Icarus. I think he would be in the first circle. Very dull, but not so painful. I know what it is to get too close to the sun, or may be it was just a lamp and I a moth.
