Industrial wastes from a military complex designing a weapon with the ability to petrify living matter seeped into a nest of basilisk eggs in the South American rain forest. The toxic chemicals mutated the growing embryos inside, causing them drastic transformations. None but the smallest off the eggs survived...

A primitive tribe that lived by the toxic nest worship Basiliscuss and refer to him as The Imperial Bringer of Death in their native tongue.

Basiliscuss is a huge, hideous green plumed basilisk lizard with glowing bluish spots along his dorsal ridge. A brutish beast that marches from country sides to cities with a jolly swagger about him. His dragon-like facial features have clear signs of anger, pain and joy when examined closely. It's horrifying roar sounds like a mix between a rooster and a snake.

Basiliscuss has a habit of tormenting and bullying weaker creatures , he's been known to stand over his fallen combatant and start crowing, staring up at the sky for hours after his victories of them.

The Imperial Bringer of Death is a highly intelligent creature that is very territorial and it seemingly considers the land mass between South America up to Canada as his stomping grounds. It enjoys destroying man made building and other structures but has taken a more "heroic" approach to the planet when battling alien invaders.

Primary Attacks:
Enhanced Strength: Basiliscuss is a brute and would rather bully and beat other daikaiju with
his bare fist.
Sharp Teeth: Basiliscuss has extremely sharp teeth that are sharp enough to pierce skin.
Whip Tail: Basiliscuss’s tail is very long and can be used as if whip, using his thick tail to slam and whip his foes.

Primary Weapons:
Stone Gaze Rays: Emitted from Basiliscuss's eyes these ruby red ray beams can permanently
turn living creatures to stone.

Secondary Weapons:
Poisonous Breath: Its very breath can wither vegetation and a venomous bite will poison a daikaiju quickly.
