Man, I remember getting that first Ray mini with Joe Quesada back when I was a kid. Changed my whole life, seriously. I remember staring at that amazing art and realizing for the first time that you could draw lips on a male character and he would still look like a man. I started looking at everything differently after that. And of course, based on the overall quality of the story (despite a weak ending) I've been a fan of the Ray ever since.

Glad I can bring those memories back! As I draw these, I'm having to look at old issues, and by God, what a great way to look at comics. Reminds me why I love it so much.
