though i don't think he ever died. it was not confirmed.
speculations are that version of him can return back either sewed back together or part robot who knows. XD
don't forget about
''clowns never die'' or '' you can't keep the clown down'' and finally ''most important character'' in hm This is why I doubt he is dead.
if he got his organs crushed by bullets (caliborn) i doubt being cut in half is something that stops his return XD.
