I wanted to try out a new style anyways and was heavily inspired by the pure awesomeness that was shippuuden 85 (if, like me, you had decided that the naruto anime was a total waste of time a while ago... u really should still go and check it out. The animation's movie quality ^^)I have no idea who the enemy ninja are, but i intended them to be fighting in a city by the sea.
In the manga.. if Kakashi is dead.... its kinda dissapointing. The nail would have been a way cooler way for him to go ...
Although he'll make an interesting Pein-zombie, I guess. Red hair and rinnegan eyes are gonna look quite odd ...

i like that kind of style. good work. fight scenes are hard to draw...

an older version of GIMP.... but you can get the same look working in the (free!) current 2.8 version 
use a simple brush and the ink tool on a low opacity and you should be able to get a similar look

I think it was the bit where Shikamaru and kakashi fight the Immortals. really worth checking out for the fight choreography alone

Oh, you mean the pair of Akatsuki!? The creepy religious guy and the budget manager? If so, heck yeah, that fight is one of my favs in Shippuden, mainly 'cause Kakashi looks bad-ass as hell without his vest.
And you got your first look at Rasen-Shuriken. Now THAT'S a moment when you were jumping up and down in your seat like crazy! ^^
