Description Four surviving daughters of Grand Duchess Alice of Hesse (on the sepia photo), who died in 1878. She left her daughters /from left to right/: Victoria, Irene, Alix and Elisabeth, her son Ernest Louis and husband, Grand Duke Louis.

This photo is so touching....

I agree,coloring sepia is SO hard..But I always turn it B&W before I color the picture and it makes it a whole lot easier!

Does the fact that I turn any sepia photos black and white mean I'm cheating? xD

Anyway, love the way you left the photo of Alice. Ally did that once in a picture. She left a photo in the back B&W and people were like... you missed a spot.

and you know, I usually also turn the photo b&w, but sometimes I look at it and I just know i can do a sepia, and it would look kinda better

yes, i freakin nearly died, it's so hard to set the right colours with a sepia photo, but then again, the photo looks more like i want it to look when i color it in sepia
