They had managed to evade him this far, fleeing from Lavender Town all the way to Mt. Pyre, hoping to hide among the otherworldly fog. Along the way they had found many other lost Pokemon, abandoned by their trainers, yet all they wanted was to be reunited. But as they stopped to catch their breath, it was then they realized just how transparent they all really were... literally, transparent. It was more obvious among the fog for some reason. However, their fear in realization had brought him right to them! Cowering together, they tried in vain to think of a way out... but he had them trapped..."Run run run~ Run as much as you like, but you cannot escape your fate! You will join us, and you will forget everything holding you here~~"

Contest entry for 's Halloween contest. Had a bit of fun with it, and of course I had to go dark with it. Oh well.

I voted for you, not just because the artwork, also because I really like the description text. Even made me shiver a little and it's also quite sad...
I also like their expressions - Vulpix' pose and Poochyena's barking and the way Togepi hides, especially.
The first two and Eevee are also some of my favorite Pokemon and also Gengar is a really nice one - I like it's expression too, and the idea just to show it's shadow instead of itself. It's creepier and more creative like this.
The ghost lights are pretty too they create a fitting atmosphere, only the gravestones seem a little... Hmm, maybe they're just too accurate for my taste?
Overall I really like it. <3

Rather dark suppose that's why it's a Halloween contest submission. I don't recognise the grey/black Pokemon and eve looks a little weird to me but otherwise it's good to see art from you once more I was starting to worry you burned yourself out.
