Question about the white vest- I see you are using a very industrial looking clip for the fasteners (I see screws holding them in). Is there a type of back for screws that allows them to be used on fabric like this?
And whereabouts could I acquire some?

Clasps: [link]

The screws have a nut on the back, and the holes were reinforced with glue. In the future, I'll probably use rivets instead. But, I still like the look of the screws.

I agree. Thank you for the link!
One more question question for you- where do you usually buy leather from? And is it a particular kind?
Thank you!

I have those exact clasps for my Lightning jacket (the pattern of which I bought from you! ) -- how did you attach them?

I punched holes into the jacket and then used screws to attach the clasps (already had three holes in the clasps). Although I like the look of the screws, I think rivets would also be a good solution.

I expect to have the Lighting patterns ready to ship out early next week

That's wonderful! I'm so ridiculously excited, I've been a huge fan of your work but too shy to buy a pattern and then gush over all of the photos. :3

How did you attach the screws -- what did you use for backing? I'm going to experiment with the clasps soon on some spare vinyl to see how they hold. Thank you SO much for the help!
