Description
Ion is the son of Lillian and is the fifth protagonist in Dragon Ball Generations. Unlike every other warrior Ion has a specific handicap where he is unable to use his ki (can't charge, transform or fire ki waves he cant even fly) but Ion makes up for this with his brute strength alone. Like Saitama in "One Punch Man" he delivers extremely powerful blows and trains to be powerful without ki. He can also use this strength to kick the ground/air hard enough to send him flying forward or upward. So even though he can't use ki, he is still a very reliable partner as enemies can't sense his true power. Ion can also enter a state called "Ascension" its a state that you cannot master or tap into. This power boost occurs at random and increases all senses and strengths. Ion is the only one who ever gets to use this power among the main cast and only gets to use it when it activates randomly in battle. After an ascension all the power you gained can be permanent and stacked onto. (note: funny easter egg Ion is in the same spot on the family tree that Goku Jr. was in, in the movie "Dragon Ball GT A Heroes Legacy" and Goku Jr. has goku's hairstyle so i figured if Ion is in that spot instead of him he should have that hair too. also due to Ion being 50% human his hair is brown the only reason his hair is standing up like super saiyan is because ascension is so powerful it rises his hair)
