Sharpies and ink on 2.5" x 3.5" bristol.Commission for a trade where the fellow wanted a 3rd card, and I was too chicken to do characters from Vampire Knight which I had never heard of before. So I suggested Veil (since the other two cards he wanted were Pulseman and Beatrice) and he said "awesome".

I don't think you drew alot of Veil before. You should draw him more often, he looks awesome in your style~

That would be my half-worn-out purple Sharpie going "meh, I'm not gonna make a very broad stroke, but I'll gush like mad if you press me down hard or go back over a line, nyah." I'm gonna need to find a new purple Sharpie.
No, I don't draw Veil very much at all... what is this, the 2nd Veil pic in the gallery? Of course then there's your trade coming up, which I got a new bristol pad to do it on, because I've kind of fell in love with gouache and ink (and my tablet pen needs mental rehabilitation)... In my mind, Veil is a lot like Gary Oak (cool-tempered, boastful, and knows he's better than everyone else) but I'm gonna try very hard to make him not look exactly like him.
Looking back at this pic, I feel like the kids in that one video that gets shown on America's Funniest Videos every Easter or so... oh wait I don't have to describe it, here it is. [link] The way those two kids react to the eggs that they had already painted and decorated themselves, gasping like they've never seen them before. If I can get Veil to look like this now, then he's gonna look totally badass when he finally appears in the Pulse fancomic (which is gonna be a darn long while since he shows up so far into the story, argh!)

xD For me, all my markers are like that. (No wonder I don't use them :I) The amount of Pulseman pictures just overflows your gallery pretty much. For some reason I can't see Veil as a egotistical character. I don't know, but it just feels weird. OTL
....That video made me laugh.out.loud. Who scares little kids with a creepyass bunny in the middle of the night? XD (PS. Can't wait for that fancomic~Looking foward to it)

Oh, this one looks very epic, and Veil looks badass in his cool pose, also, the darkened BG seems fitting for him. <3
