it's a concept ive been playing around lmao.
basically when gauche manifests himself as his portals per say, he becomes something of a glass physical, and the glass shards will act as portals that connects him to his memories since his portal creation relies on memory manipulation and paradoxes a lot. In this case his arms were shattered, so he can connect his memories to his past to bring out arms from various timelines - in this case, every arm that was holding some sort of weapon.

This method is obviously very dangerous, since if he gets destroyed wholly, he might end up everywhere and nowhere since he's shattered into pieces and probably have no method to reconnect him. Only to be used under emergency situations.

of course, when he reverts back, he had to regrow a pair of arms lmao.
