Costa's Hummingbird on a windy early morning. Its funny how this little guy was heavy enough to keep this branch still as all the leaves blow around him. For some strange reason, maybe because of the rising sun lighting this Costa's hummingbird has a blue tint instead of the normal purple.Related content

Haha, interesting how much the head color can change. Maybe because the lighting in the morning has different wavelengths, and their feathers react to that?
